Noun: Cone Bolt, Forward Engine Mount, Assembly, on the C-5 Aircraft, NSN: 1560-00-702-2195LH, PART NR:4P01001-101A, FORM FIT FUNCTION: The Cone Bolt Fastens the forward part of the C-5 engine to the holding wing pylon. It's functions like a regular bolt, but the head of the conebolt contains a bearing that holds another bolt for the forward engine assembly, SIZE/DIMENSION: Approximately 3" WIDE X 8" LONG PERDOMINANT MATERIAL OF MANUFACTURE: Steel, T.O. 1C-5A-10; FIG 4-5, INDEX 9. This acquisition is for a 3 (three) year requirements contract with BEQ's: Basic yr 57, 1st option yr 57, and 2nd option yr 57. Manufacturers must be engineer approved. Non qualified bidders must submit 1st article for approval by engineering. 1st article waiver manufacturer must have previously furnished production quantities of the same article to the Air Force not more than 24 months elapsed since completion of the contract.
