labor, plant, materials, and equipment necessary to drill, sample, and
log both soil and rock in borings both indoors and outdoors at a
vacant mill building in Corinna, Maine. The indoor borings involve
difficult access, low overhead (10 ft), and no supplied electricity.
Contractor will need to provide power and lights indoors. All field
personnel shall be experienced in working at hazardous waste sites, and
shall be current in their hazardous waste training in accordance with
29 CFR 1910.120. Anticipate working in level D modified, with potential
for upgrade to Level C respiratory protection. Field borehole logging
services shall be performed by a Maine Registered Geologist. Work to be
started on or about 16 November 1998, and to be completed no later than
18 December 1998. Estimated cost of the project is between $25,000 and
$100,000. Statement of Work will be available at no cost on or about
