The modification will be implemented over a 9 month period and extend the current contract by the same period. The activities extended under the modification include assistance in the fields of institutional development, management, small micro enterprise credit delivery techniques, systems and procedures development, accounting and financial management information systems, financial analysis, and staff and senior management training. USAID/Egypt intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of AIDAR 706.302-70(b)(5). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received thirty days after publication of this synopsis will beconsidered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
