Hill/Pkwtp/[937]257-7298 Construction Refurbishment, Aeronautical Systems Center, Foreign Military Sales Office (ASC/PKWTP) is contemplating the acquisition of one (1) construction requirement at King Fahad Air base in Taif, Saudi Arabia. This 7 month acquisition encompasses the modification of an existing aircraft shelter to accommodate installation of a LATIRN Maintenance Shelter Set (LMSS) and related functions. The estimated cost of the proposed acquisition is between $ 250,000 and $500,000. The contract type anticipated is Firm-Fixed Price (FFP). The contractor shall provide labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision to perform this effort. The successful contractor must possess a current Saudi Arabian Ministry of Commerce Commercial Registration. Therefore, only those registered to do business in Saudi Arabia will be considered for award. The closing date for submission of proposals is 45 days from release of the Request for Proposal (RFP). RFP release is estimated to 21 October 1998. The approximate issue/response date will be 21 OCT 1998. No telephone requests.
