This effort includes production engineering, test, evaluation, preparation of ECPs, logistic support, configuration management support, redesign of hardware due to obsolete parts, quality assurance and software support. Based on experience gained on prior MK 53 DLS study contracts as well as a current production contract effort, it is the government's intention to award this procurement to Sippican Inc. of Marion, Massachusetts.
