V-VESSEL CHARTER Special Notice: The Government will issue a draft solicitation for review and comment, on the following requirement: charter of vessel,with master and crew, and at least two biologists provided by the contractor to conduct baited longline assessments of sablefish and other groundfish resources in the Gulf of Alaska and a portion of the Eastern Bering Sea in the years 1999 and 2000. The vessel shall have an overall length of at least 135 ft, be completely rigged to fish longlines, and have sufficient living quarters to accomodate the required crew plus 4 government scientists.
