(ACC) SYNOPSIS# 0027-98. -- NSN:5827-00-R00-0000, P/N: 19156. -- FOB to the country of Taiwan. -- Required delivery schedule is not later than 18 months after receipt of contract. -- The Government proposes to award on a sole source basis to Raytheon Aircraft Company, (Montek Company), the following: AN/TRN-26 (MM-6000) Shelterized Mobile TACAN System. -- The acquisition will consist of three each AN/TRN-26 (MM-6000) dual, 400 watt (x-mode), Shelterized Mobile TACAN Systems with all band antenna, spare parts for AN/TRN-26 dual TACAN (includes site spares, depot level spare modules, and module repair parts), special tools and test equipment in support of AN/TRN-26 dual TACAN, four week in-country intermediate level maintenance training provided by Raytheon Aircraft Company (Montek Company), and one week in-country technical assistance to support installation, setup, and testing of MM-6000 equipment. -- Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1 "Only one responsible source". -- The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government does not have specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition.
