Predator Training Station & Research Station Development -- SSS PKR 99-001. The 311th Human Systems Wing, Directorate of Contracting, Research & Development Contracting Division, Brooks AFB, TX. The Warfighter Training Research Division, Human Effectiveness Directorate, of the USAF Research Laboratory intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Parker International, a SMALL BUSINESS firm, to continue development of a PC based Predator operator training system and research station. The contractor shall provide both on-site and off-site system and software support, system integration, and installation of Predator System Multi-Task Trainers at AFRL Mesa, AZ, Luke AFB, AZ, Indian Springs AFAF, NV, and other research laboratories sponsored by the Air Force Office of Scientific Research using the research stations. The effort requires completion of the high fidelity simulation of the Predator GCS System 4, upgrade to GCS System 6, integration of the Air Vehicle Operator Station, the Sensor Operator Station, the Instructor Operator Station, and the partial functionality of the DEMPC operator station initially developed by Parker International. The effort also requires integration into the Distributed Mission Training DIS and HLA network at the Division at Mesa AZ, development of performance measures for training research, development of individualized training research tasks derived from actual training tasks, and providing operating instruction documentation for the system. It is anticipated that this contract will be CPFF for 18 months period of performance, divided into three 6-month phases of development. A SECRET clearance is mandatory to perform this effort.
