Laboratory (NRL) has a requirement for specialized space system
expertise, along with engineering and technical support, travel, and
material for mechanical, structural, aerodynamic, thermal, propulsion,
and hardware and software development, as well as the integration and
test of advanced subsystems for designated space and launch systems.
Efforts include technical support for concept studies, subsystem and
payload design and development, integration and test, launch
processing, and on-orbit verification. The required period of
performance is from date of contract award through 5 years thereafter.
The requirement is set aside 100% for small business. The standard
industrial size (SIC) code applicable to this requirement is 8711 with
a size standard of $20. M. The solicitation will close 30 days after
the issuance date. The NRL uses Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue RFPs
and amendments to RFPs. The solicitation and any amendments to it will
be available via the Internet at the URL address shown below. Paper
copies of the RFP will not be provided. It is anticipated that award of
an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract with cost-plus
fixed fee term task orders will be made. Any questions related to the
issuance of this solicitation must be received no later than 5 days
