TECHNICAL ADVISOR CARE one of the world's leading relief and development organization is seeking a Technical Advisor in the field of Basic Education for its Atlanta headquarters. Will coordinate the development and framework of the Continuing Education component for "fellow" organizations involved in the project; design and conduct needs assessment with local Project Coordinator in Kenya and Tanzania; as well as design and provide training materials and staff development for the project;. coordinate and carry out evaluations of continuing education activities and assure the timely collection and analysis of all evaluations and monitoring activities. H/She will also provide technical support to CARE's COs involved in other educational programs. Qualifications: Master's degree in development studies, sociology, basic or nonformal education or a related field. Ability to work creatively and independently while contributing to the development of a collaborative approach. Seven plus years working in development programs focused on three or more of the following technical skills: community development, basic and/or nonformal education, capacity building with non-governmental organizations, training, participatory research and evaluation, grant writing, funding raising.
