The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place an order on BOA N00019-96-G-0023 with Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, CT to identify and provide all data that will be used by the H-53 and H-60 programs for all special tooling and special test equipment (ST/STE) (including tooling already dispositioned), required by Sikorsky and sub-vendors, that resides in the Sikorsky master tool data base, used in the manufacture of all H-53 and H-60 aircraft, components, repairable and spare parts including peculiar consumables. The contractor shall also provide technical assistance to the Government by participating in working group meetings and progress reviews. The solicitation will require that the respondents possess a detailed, working, technical familiarity with the H-53 and H-60 families of aircraft. Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. is the sole manufacturer and supplier of H-53 and H-60 aircraft and is the only company with the required capability to perform this effort. See note 22.
