The Office of Procurement, Department of the Treasury, Departmental
Offices (DO) is seeking information on automated inventory tracking
systems for property records management, with the following features:
1. Have the capability to track items by barcode. 2. Track items that
depreciate in value. 3. Track items which are fully depreciated in
value but tracked as usable inventory. 4. Have the ability to
facilitate the relocation of property. 5. Track items by location. 6.
Capacity to maintain history of disposal of surplus property. 7. The
option to maintain and track images of the curator's inventory of
historic property. 8. The option to interface with CAD system,
procurement and financial systems. 9. Compatibility with DO's current
architecture which includes:: a. Compatibility with communication
protocols TCP/IP; b. Interface with database server WIN NT 4.0; c.
Compatibility with Clients Win95; d. Server configuration
minimum/maximum 200 MHz -- 266 MHz with 64MB -- 128 MB ram. e. Client
configuration minimum/maximum 100 MHz -- 166 MHz with 32 MB ram. 10.
User training. 11. Security features which meet all applicable network
security laws and regulations. 12. Immediate on-call help desk
service. 13. Y2K compliant. 14. Site license availability. 15. Active
government and commercial user group(s), with which the manufacturer
has an established record of responsiveness. Contractors who wish to

regarding (1) Company's full name, address, and point of contact, (2)
list of products that meet the stated criteria and related pricing, (3)
list of contract vehicles and other interagency agreements, e.g. GSA
Schedule Contract, currently in place that allow cross-servicing and
ordering and, (4) any other brochures and prepared literature that
