The Portland VA Medical Center (PVAMC) located at 3710 SW U.S. Veterans Hospital Road, Portland, Oregon, requires temporary diagnostic radiologist coverage for approximately 8 to 11 months with an option to extend up to six additional months beginning on or about November 1, 1998. One full time diagnostic, board eligible or board certified radiologist will be purchased as a result of this Request for Quotation. Contractor physician will provide diagnostic services in conjunction with VA staff physicians to perform comprehensive service in general diagnostic radiology, diagnostic fluoroscopic procedures, CT, neuroradiology, and ultrasound. Services of the physician may be required in nuclear medicine. Daily coverage is required Monday through Friday, excluding National holidays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with on-call coverage as scheduled by the Chief of VA Imaging Service. This is a commercial item request for quotation. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be issued.
