The conference is for the purpose of generating a dialog and the exchanging of ideas in anticipation of a solicitation of new Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contracts, to be awarded in 1999, for technical services in the area of Democracy and Governance. The technical office is the Democracy Center of USAID's Global Bureau. The Conference is scheduled for Monday, October 26, 1998, from 8:45 AM to 12:30 PM, Eastern Standard Time. The conference will be held at USAID offices, Ronald Reagan International Trade Center, 1300 Pennsylvania Ave., Washington, DC, 20004, Room 8.07 B/C. Topics to be discussed include pricing arrangements, task order competition and award procedures, subcontracting issues, technical issues, other terms and conditions, etc. Comments from potential contractors and subcontractors will be cordially welcomed.
