Chapman, Contracting Officer, (817) 534-8400, ext. 3041 The Federal Medical Center, Fort Worth, Texas plans to issue a solicitation for Bio Medical Waste Removal Services at this location. These nonpersonal services are considered contractual in nature and should not be considered a personal appointment to the Bureau of Prisons. The work to be performed under the resulting contract shall consist of pick up and proper disposal of contaminated waste. The successful contractor will be responsible for performing these services in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This procurement will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Contract period will include a base year not to exceed twelve (12) months and four (4) one (1) year option periods for renewal. Solicitations will be available on or about October 20, 1998, with an anticipated receipt of quotes on or about November 30, 1998.
