fixed price contract, valued at approximately $3M, to procure common
VME chassis for FY 99 (approximately 57 chassis) with annual options
for FY 00 through FY 02 (approximately 50 chassis per each option

100% set aside to small businesses covered under SIC Code 3663. The
small business size standard for SIC Code 3663 is a business, including
its affiliates, with no more than 750 employees. Please refer to FAR

Multiple Access (TDMA) Interface Processors (TIP) and the Navy
Extremely High Frequency (EHF) Circuit Card (NECC). This procurement
will provide for a common VME chassis that will implement their
complementary capabilities. The document that describes the military
specifications, design, construction, performance, and testing
requirements for the combined NECC and TIP chassis -- a Ruggedized
Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) item -- will be provided when the
Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued. SPAWAR intends to issue the RFP
electronically on the SPAWAR Homepage

of delivery requirements (deliveries beginning in March 1999), the
Government intends to award this contract in the mid- but no later than
late November 1998 timeframe. Request interested sources to reply via
email/fax/mail and provide the name, telephone number, and email
