Bryant, 202-720-7415 The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) intends to extend the period of performance of its contract number 53-3142-5-1021 with Securus, Inc. to maintain its controlled access building security system at the USDA, National Information Technology Center, 3825 E. Mulberry St., Ft. Collins, CO. The system includes: one MicroVax 3100 computer w/20mb hard disk and one floppy drive, two viewpoint color visual display terminals, one printer, four Schlage model 708-5 port controllers, 29 Schlage model 2714 proximity card readers, 29 door strikes and internconnecting circuitry, a back-up batter power supply, and twelve intrusion detectors. The pd. of performance will be extended for 15 months beginning October 1, 1998. Labor and parts are included with the PPM being 9 hrs/day M-F, on-call maintenance w/ 4hr response time.
