The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to questions received and clarify the BAA number. Question: The Commerce Business Daily referenced a solicitation number SP4400-99-R-2000 and BAA number SP4410-99-R-2000. What is the is the difference between the solicitation number and the BAA number? Answer: The solicitation number of SP4400-99-R-2000 was incorrect. It should have been SP4410-99-R-2000. The solicitation and BAA are one in the same thing. Hereinafter this BAA will be identified as SP4410-99-R-2000. Question: What is the date required for submittal of responses in the first step, when it was issued on the CBDnet or when published in the Commerce Business Daily? Answer: The date of submittal is twenty days after publication in the hard copy of the CBD or 4:30 p.m. eastern time October 26, 1998. Question: In the first step does the prime offeror have to meet all the qualifications and only submit for itself, or if teaming, can they submit information from all partners to show they meet the qualifications? Answer: The prime teaming partner should provide the financials as required by paragraph c of the BAA. The information required by paragraphs a and b should be provided as applicable by the teaming partners. Question: Will DRMS entertain any other payment arrangements than just paying from the savings? Answer: No. The only thing that may be negotiated is the percent of savings that will be paid to the contractor. This amendment makes no other changes to the BAA. Posted 10/15/98 (W-SN262368).
