Phillips, Contracting Officer 504-589-5284 Provide A/E services fo all investigation, design surveys, verification of as-built conditions, construction drawings, cost estimates, phasing and estimated construction time to fully develop a set of construction documents for renovation of 7C for patient privacy. This project involves a total gut of ward 7C and renovation for a medical ward with a focus toward patient privacy,m comfort and convience. The A/E may be required to provide the services of a Certified Industrial Hygienist to incorporate asbestos abatement plans and specifications into the bidding documents as well as monitoring during the construction phase. The Standard Industrial Classification code for this procuement is 8712, Architectural Services, $2.5 million dollars. 254's and 255's will be accepted from responsible firms within a 100 mile radius of the New Orleans Metropolitian area until 4:00PM, close of business November 17, 1998. Travel funds are not authorized. The radius will be determined based on the adress stated in block 1 of the SF 254. It is the intent of this agency to interview a maximum of five A/E firms. Selection evaluation factors are as follows: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of the required services, (2) Specialized experience and technical competence in this type of work, (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required timeframe.
