SOURCES SOUGHT: This is a MODIFICATION -- GSA is expanding the scope of
professional services. General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking
sources to provide professional services for the implementation of a
Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) Program. CAFM will be used
to support all space planning, move management, inventory management,
network management and office reconfiguration planning in advance of
the actual facilities consolidation of an agency in the metropolitan
Washington, DC area. Prior to the issuing of the solicitation package,
GSA will review the qualifications of firms that may be interested in
providing this service. Firms must provide their qualifications for
review and address each of the following evaluation criteria: 1.
Experience in facilities management operations and physical plant
engineering; 2. Ability to implement CAFM technology within a
facilities management organization. 3. Experience in the use of CAFM
technology in planning and executing facilities management operations.
4. Ability to provide the appropriate information technology solutions
associated with CAFM implementation. 5. Ability to integrate space,
property, maintenance, inventory, network and telecom management
functions and data within a common operating framework. 6. Experience
in integrating the requirements of diverse organizations in support of
a common objective. 7. Possession of Top Secret Security Clearances
issued by the U.S. Government for all key personnel who will be working
on this project. ONLY those firms determined to be capable of
supporting this requirement will receive a complete solicitation
package and be permitted to make a formal oral presentation to the
technical evaluation panel. ADDITIONAL SERVICES: In conjunction with
CAFM, GSA is also seeking sources for the development of a Multiple
Award Schedule covering these additional services: Numbers 1 through 6
reamin as stated above. 7. Change to read: Firms may be required to
possess Top Secret Clearances issued by the U.S. Government for all key
personnel who will be working on this project. 8. Experience in
strategic planning, space analysis and market analysis. 9. Experience
in housing management and operation. 10. Experience in housing
maintenance and repair. 11. Personnel training services covering
facilities/housing operations and maintenance, etc. Firms must provide
their qualifications for review and address each evaluation criteria
as stated above. ONLY those firms determined to be capable of providing
these services will receive a complete solicitation package. THE DATE
