The U.S. Coast Guard intends to lease one (1) 10,000 gallon aircraft refueler truck for the base year period of 1 February 1999 through 30 September 1999, with four one-year options. The vehicle will be used to refuel aircraft from a fuel tank storage system at Coast Guard Air Station, Clearwater, FL. The minimum vehicle requirements are: pumping pressure not more than 60 PSI; refuel/defuel capability; no more than 600 GPM flow rate; 50 foot fuel hoses with single point nozzle assembly and dry brake; over/under wing refuel capability, and overflow system protection with pre-check valves. The lease should include unlimited mileage. The government will award a contract from this request for proposals to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government. This solicitation is restricted to participation to small business concerns (100% set-aside). The standard industrial code (SIC) is 7513. The size standard is $18.5 million.
