Areas include a maintenance room, class room, training room, toilets and office. Structural steel framing with a concrete block and metal siding are required. Mechanical, electrical/ communications and janitorial room will also be provided. Mechanical will include HVAC, ventilation and compressed air systems. Electric and manual roll up doors are required. Construction is adjacent to wetlands and requires construction of an access road through wetlands. Protection of wetlands, site clearing and grubbing, asphalt paving, landscaping and irrigation are required. Site work includes water, sewer, communications, electrical and gas utilities. This solicitation is a re-advertisement of Solicitation DACA01-98-B-0051 which was cancelled. Bid documents are available on or about 2 November 1998. Estimated cost or work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Requests for plans and specifications shall indicate inwriting whether firm will bid as a prime contractor or a subcontractor.
