furnishing a runner hydraulic design with a model test; furnishing and
delivering replacement runners and cones, stationary wear rings and
shaft sleeves for two of the existing four turbines and one spare set
of stationary wear rings and a shaft sleeve. The work is located at the
Yellowtail Powerplant, located immediately downstream from Yellowtail
Dam on the Bighorn River, approximately 45 miles southwest of Hardin,
Montana. The powerplant contains four hydraulic generating units. The
bid opening date is tentatively scheduled for December 17, 1998, at the
Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, 316 North 26th
Street, Billings, Montana 59101, Room 2031. There is no charge for the
first copy of the solicitation, additional sets may be provided upon
receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each. After
issuance, the solicitation may be viewed, without charge at the address
mentioned above. All reasonable sources may submit a bid which shallbe
considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The small business size
standard is 1,000 employees and the Standard Industrial Classification
