Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), technical agent for the Electronic Proving Ground (EPG) at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, is seeking sources available to provide counterdrug interdiction technologies which are obtainable for immediate deployment to state and local law enforcement agencies. The technology must be fully developed with time requirements only for manufacture. Products in development stages will not be evaluated under any circumstances. Technology should have a specific application such as: audio and or video surveillance; command, control, communication, computer, intelligence systems (C4I); robotics; covert photographic devices; narcotic detection devices; wire intercept systems; etc. Vendors of selected technologies / equipment will be invited to perform a demonstration and or briefing tentatively scheduled for the first week of December 1998. Agencies will be invited to demonstrate only products with counterdrug interdiction capabilities. Demonstration facilities will be provided in Tucson, Arizona. Agencies will have no more than one (1) hour for briefing and or demonstration including the required set-up and tear down times Agencies may demonstrate multiple technologies; however, time is limited to one (1) hour per technology No travel funding will be provided by CSC and/or EPG. Interested agencies shall submit a letter of interest not later than 1 November 1998. The letter shall include, an executive summary, brief description of the technology, estimated pricing, delivery, warranty provisions, training options, and shall be a maximum of three (3) pages.
