The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) intends to grant an exclusive license to make and sale "Reciprocating Subsurface-flow Constructed Wetlands for Improving Waste Water Treatment (U.S. patent application filed December 2, 1996, serial no. 08/755,858, issue fee paid May 15, 1998). The license will be limited to the treatment of liquid waste at domestic airports, subject to a reservation of a paid-up, nonexclusive irrevocable right and license in TVA and the Government of the United States of America to practice or have practiced the described technology. Additionally, TVA is inviting others interested in utilizing this technology for other applications.
