The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ is requesting technical information on firms with the capability to provide re-engineering, refurbishment and/or reverse engineering services for used aircraft support equipment (SE). Specifically, information is requested for both mechanical and electrical parts/systems. Information is requested from firms with the capability to (1)refurbish used equipment; (2)validate/certify that electrical components function properly; (3)can reverse engineer an item/make it from scratch or propose an alternate item if manufacturing is not possible; (4)test refurbished or remanufactured items to first article test/validate performance to original specifications and document the testing procedures. These services would be primarily for the following aircraft: A-4, A-6, AV-8, AH-1, E-2, F-18C&D, P-3, SH-3, and SH-60. Many of the services required will be primarily used in Foreign Military Sales contracts. Please provide technical information, brochures and documentation of your firm's capabilities to meet the above types of services.
