COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF OCTOBER 21,1998 PSA#2205ACC Contracting Squadron, 130 Douglas Street, Suite 400, Langley AFB,
VA 23665-2791 R -- SOURCES SOUGHT FOR OPERATION, MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT OF PRIMARY
TRAINING RANGES SOL F44650-98-RANGES POC Capt Timothy Klopfer (757)
764-4786, Contract Manager or Capt Lee Ericksen 764-7583, Contract

http://public.acclog.af.mil/cons/LGCO/Ranges/Ranges1.htm. E-MAIL: ACC
Contracting Squadron Primary Training Range Acquisition,
acccons.lgcoranges@langley.af.mil. As a continuation of our market
research efforts and based on the request of industry, the Air Force
offers the opportunity for all potential offerors to have access to all
Primary Training Range (PTR) locations. Access to sites is strictly to
allow offerors to visually view the specific location. THIS IS NOT A
FORMAL SITE VISIT. A presentation regarding contracting or site
specifics will not be given. The purpose of authorizing access is to
allow contractors the ability to increase their familiarity of each
site. An Air Force representative will be present strictly to act as an
escort and not to answer questions. No information regarding the
contract/acquisition specifics will be given during the site access
process. Again, the site access is strictly to allow the contractors to
visually view the sites. Any questions or comments must be submitted in
writing to ACC CONS. Once the site access process is completed, we will
post questions and answers to our PTR Home Page. The Air Force has
established a schedule that each site will be available for access. Due
to the magnitude of the effort to provide this access, we ask that
contractors strictly adhere to the schedule. Access to the sites will
be on an escorted basis only. The Air Force will begin the access
promptly at the date and time listed in our site access schedule
available at our PTR Home Page
http://public.acclog.af.mil/cons/welcome.htm under Business
Opportunities. All requests to access a site must be submitted in
writing to ACC CONS at least one week prior to the scheduled date. ACC
CONS and ACC DOR anticipates hosting a formal site visit shortly after
or just before the release of the final RFD. The formal site visit will
include a pre-proposal conference with visits to 2 or 3 sites we
determine are most representative of the effort involved. Therefore, if
you wish to visit additional sites the opportunity to do so is during
the Site Access period as discussed above. Due to the magnitude of this
effort, we will be unable to make any exceptions regarding site access.
