Kearby, Contracting Officer, (817) 534-8400 The Federal Medical Center, Fort Worth, Texas is soliciting for a Therapeutic Recreational Wellness Instructor, a non-personal service for this location. THese services are considered contractual in nature and should not be considered a personal appointment to the Bureau of Prisons. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The work to be performed under the resulting contract shall consist of approximately 150, one hour sessions per year, of group leadership in developing a health/fitness program for approximately 1400 male inmates incarcerated at this facility. The instructor of the resulting non-personal contract must have a degree with educational emphasis in the area of health related fitness and have a minimum of five (5) years experience. Knowledge of drug dependency and wellness will be helpful. This procurement will awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Contract period includes a base year not to exceed 12 months and four one year option periods for renewal.
