The work consists of phasing out the existing gas distribution system in the main production plant area and replacing approximately 20,000 linear feet of 6-inch and 4-inch distribution mains, complete with impressed current cathodic protection system. All distribution mains, laterals, and service line to natural gas consuming facilities will be replaced up to the supply side of existing gas regulators. All isolation valves will also be replaced. Existing lines phased out will be purged, filled with water, removed in some places, and abondoned. A permanent record of the location of these existing lines will be provided by the General Contractor for future planning and mapping of utility systems. Magnitude of project is estimated to be between $4,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Duration of the project is 550 calendar days. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED PROCUREMENT. SIC CODE 1623 aplies.
