This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number 6TSA-99-DJH-0008 is being issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-06. SOFTWARE BUNDLES: CLIN 1. CIMNET Folders Pro Ver 5.0, Qty. 20, (concurrent users of any combination from the following modules: A. CIMNET Folders Manufacturing Information Control System, main core database module, required for any folders system, includes all databases and utilities, 1 required per server; B. CIMNET View, provides graphic viewing for DWG, DXF, HPGL, Targa, GIF, WMF, WPG, TIF, CalsG4, PCX, JPEG and BMP formatfiles, allows redlining and hot linking of multiple documents; C. CIMNET folders InfoMaN Administration Module, allows administrative personnel to create and manage the Folders Database, includes edit, query, view and work order dispatch; D. CIMNET Folders WorkMaN Shop Floor Module, allows access to Folders Database, provides operators an easy interface to the work order dispatch, allows password control of view, edit and markup, provides mfg. CIMNET Folders FactMaN Management Module, allows the monitoring of the manufacturing process in real time and historically, monitor and report on labor, will monitor SPC, includes links to SPC analysis; F. CIMNET Folders Job Tracking Module, allows users to track production quantities, the progress a job is making through the shop, the production efficiency (relative to time standards) and scrap rate of each operator, the load scheduled for 3each machine and estimated completion dates for each job, it adds functionality to the InfoMaN and WorkMaN modules to accomplish this, with the resulting reports available through FactMaN; G. CIMNET Folders PlanMaN Module, a finite schedule with the ability to conduct "what-if" scenarios to achieve the optional results with the resources available, PlanMaN allows the customer to schedule against two resources such as machines and people, work centers and fixtures or work-benches and people, contains the latest graphics technology to perform "drag and drop" rescheduling within a finite capacity; H. CIMNET Folders DocuMaN, true documentation control via electronic vaulting, DocuMaN has revision control for drawings but also for any other type of document that is placed within the DocuMaN vaulting scheme, ISO9000 requirements for revision control are easily achieved by controlling specifications, op. Sheets, manuals, safety procedures, maintenance records, inspection records, supplies certifications, etc.; J. CIMNET Folders SPCMaN Module, Adds SPC to the CIM environment, allows SPC data collection from WorkMaN and SPC monitoring and analysis from the FactMaN module, provides most commonly used charts for analysis; K. CIMNET Folders DNC Module, adds direct upload/download capabilities to WorkMaN, can be used with standard RS232 ports in standard PC hardware or with CIMNET DNC engines; CIMNET HARDWARE: CLIN 2.
