Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has a requirement for Advanced
Simulator Power Flow Capability Development. The Contractor shall
provide improved powerflow design, fabrication, and engineering
demonstrations for DECADE and other radiation simulators operated by
the Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA). Included are concept
development and evaluation, definition, implementation and analysis of
scaled experiments, conceptual design definitions, physics design,
preparation of technical specification documents, engineering design
and hardware drawings, fabrications, assembly, integration, and final
demonstration on a nuclear weapons effects x-ray simulator. The
objective of this indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ)
contract is to obtain the services necessary to design, fabricate, and
demonstrate hardware to implement advanced powerflow techniques
required for improved radiation source capabilities on DSWA simulators.
