A -- NAVY ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY DEMONSTRATIONS (ATDS) SOL 98-024 DUE 110698 POC Clifford W. Anderson, 703-696-4485 or 703-696-0557 Due to anticipated budget reductions it is no longer anticipated that Advanced Technology Demonstration (ATD) funding will be available in FY01 for new starts. Accordingly, the Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) (ONR No: 98-024) which appeared in the Commerce Business Daily on 02 September 1998 (PSA #2172) is amended as follows. Recognizing that promising technical plans may have already been developed, ONR will still accept Concept Proposals as described in the "First Phase" of the current BAA. These proposals will be distributed for consideration by ONR evaluators with an eye to identifying alternative sources of funding for the most promising ATD projects. The due date of 06 November 1998 remains in effect for Concept Proposals. Offerors submitting promising Concept Proposals will be contacted directly by the sources of alternative funding, (should alternative funding be made available), as to the follow-on submission of a full technical and cost proposal.
