Proctor, Contracting Officer, (703) 325-2859 The US Army CECOM Acquisition Center-Washington intends to award a sole source purchase order with Oracle Corporation, at 516 Herndon Parkway, Herndon, VA 21070. The Contractor shall provide software support for the Oracle Corporation software products installed on government hardware platforms supporting the SBIS project. The hardware configuration being used for the SBIS network is the RISC 6000, NT, and HP 9000 series. Support entitles the Government to major software updates as well as access to telephone technical support services for te maintenance period and technical manual(s) for the software updates and fixes. All work is to be performed under an anticipated fixed price order. The Government's obligation is contingent upon appropriation of funds by Congress and will be signed under the Subject to Availability of FY99 Funds with the intent to pay.
