Y -- IMPROVE WHARF "D" (TWO-STEP DESIGN/BUILD, NAVAL STATION, MAYPORT, FL) REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL NO. N62467-98-R-0968. NOTICE: This notice is being provided on an information only basis. Phase II of subject request for proposal (RFP) has been revised to include electrical improvements to Wharves E and F at Naval Station Mayport, FL at an estimated cost of $3,000,000.00. These improvements are similar to those required for Wharf D under Phase I of the RFP. The upgrades to Wharves E and F require an extension of an additional 26.4 kV electrical circuit to Wharf F and includes a new regulator at the E Wharf Substation, high voltage switches and two (2)3750 kVA transformers. The project also involves reconfiguration of low voltage circuits at Wharf F. The five (5) Design/Build teams selected during Phase I of the RFP will be solicited for proposals on improvements to Wharves E and F in addition to Wharf D. As a result, RFP No. N62467-98-R-0968 is increased in estimated value from $10-$15 million to $13-$18 million. The following five (5) Design/Build teams have been selected to advance to Phase II of Solicitation N62467-98-R-0968.
