This project consists of removing the existing steel and rubber modular roadway expansion joint over Pier #4 of the Bourne Bridge, Cape Cod Canal, Bourne, MA. Install a Government Furnished Modular Expansion Joint System at the Pier #4 location. The new Government Furnished Joint is a "Watson Bowmen Model D-1800" as modified to fit the camber and grade of the Bourne Bridge Roadway. The estimated cost range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Work shall be completed no later than 25 May 1999. Plans and Specifications will be available on or about 11/18/98 at a cost of $15.00 per set. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the New England District.
