The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to install key card locks with deadbolt bypass at 23 locations specified by the Government at the Social Security Administration, 6401 Security Boulevard, Baltimore, Maryland 21235. The contractor shall remove existing door knob hardware, install key card lock with deadbolt bypass per manufacturer's specification, install system controller, card encoder base and removable handset per manufacturer's specification, replace conventional keys with recodable magnetic strip key cards, provide training on site by certified representative, test and made system functional, and provide one year warranty and 100% guarantee for materials and service. SUBMTTALS: Submit a schedule of work to the Contractor Officer prior to starting work. Criteria: Year 2000 compliant, ability to limit access by date and time, ability to program card keys from workstation, ability to program card keys in advance, ability to bypass with conventionalkey, and ability to program by zone (i.e., custodial staff). PROJECT COMPLETION: From the date of award, the contractor shall have 30 days to complete all the requirements of this contract. The project must be accepted by the contracting date. Upon the completion of this project, the contractor will supply the Project Officer with two (2) copies of all maintenance and operating insutrions, wiring diagram, operating sequence and factory information on new components installed under this contract and provide instruction on equipment usage.
