N -- INSTALLATION OF HARRIS PBX 20-20 & COLLEAGUE SYSTEMS SOL ADP-99-005 DUE 111169 POC Mr. Pratap Das, Contracting Officer (202) 616-6150 The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) hereby gives notice of its intent to issue a sole source purchase order under simplified acquisition procedures to Harris Corporation, Communications Products Division, 600 Third Ave, 16th Floor, New York City, New York 10016 towards the installations of Harris Calleague VM/AA/MASS Recall System including Programming and training at fourteen(14) BOP locations i.e., FCI Florence, CO; USP Florence, CO; FCI Allenwood, PA; LSCI Allenwood, PA; USP Allenwood, PA; MDC Brooklyn, NY; FCI Fairton, NJ; FCI Sckuylkill, PA; MDC Guaynabo, PR; FCI Jesup, GA; FPC Nellis, NV; FPC Bryan, TX, FCI Three Rovers, TX. BOP also intends to purchase fourteen(14) pentium 200 based Color Security Terminals equipped with Harris Proprietary Software MS DOS software, Procom plus software and 30459-11r9" monitor to provide the following functions and Special Security Alarms: 222(red); 211(light blue); 333 (monochrome); No Dial Alarm(Blue); *69 (Light Green). The integration of the Harris Calleague VM/AA/MASS Recall System to Harris 20-20 must be performed by a Harris Technician certified on the Harris 20-20 and the Harris Calleague Voice Mail/Automated Attendant/Mass Recall System. Programming in the Harris 20-20 and Harris Calleague in addition to Programming and User Training are required No solicitation document exists. Prospective contractors should submit cost and technical data to be evaluated. Interested firms must indicate their ability to satisfy the requirement within 15(fifteen) days of this notice. Interested firms will be considered only if they respond with clear and convincing documentation they are capable of meeting or exceeding the requirement stated herein at a cost sufficiently more advantageous than the contractor named.
