On or about 4 January 1999, this office will issue a Request for Proposal for Indefinite Delivery Type (IDT) contracts for Community Relation Support at various locations. The work will include but not be limited to preparation of community relation plans, preparation of public notices/newsletters, assistance in establishing restoration advisory boards including interviews/surveys, participation in/facilitating public meetings, and providing training in communication skills to Government personnel. This solicitation is restricted to Section 8a and Small Business Concerns. Standard Industrial Classification code for this solicitation is 8743 and the size standard is $5 million. The Government may award up to two IDT contracts for a cumulative total amount not exceeding $5,000,000. There will be no limit on the amount or the number of Task Orders that may be issued against the contracts. Each contract issued will have a basic performance period of one year with four option periods of one year each. The solicitation will be available through INTERNET ACCESS only.
