Estimated issue date is November or December 1998. Firms/individuals that have previously requested this solicitation do not need to respond to this ad; they will be sent solicitations upon issuance. Full original ad follows: Scanning, scan editing, and digitizing to convert hardcopy, Government-furnished documents into digital form suitable for input to a Geographic Information System (GIS). Manually drafted documents will be either optically scanned or manually digitized, then edited and otherwise processed into topologically structured and attributed point, line, or polygon digital files. Digital data will be provided to assist in data conversion. Digital elevation models at 10 meter resolution will also be created under this contract. Services also include conversion, by scanning, of hardcopy engineering drawings into AutoCAD (tm) drawings and drafting/editing of existing and new AutoCAD (tm) drawings from government-provided data.
