GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The proprietary item "Genesis" the software package manufactured by Iconics for monitoring and controlling the HVAC system. "NOTWITHSTANDING any other provision of this contract, no other product will be acceptable for use as the software. The installer must also meet the minimum experience requirements listed in the solicitation for the Genesis software. The work includes the removal of a sliding ventilator panels and replacement with windows; replacement of parapet coping; repair, rehabilitation and code upgrade of HVAC system; provision of HVAC controls with new DDC controls; minor wiring; removal and replacement of suspended ceilings and fluorescent lighting with new, as an option and incidental related work. In addition, the work requires removal and proper disposal in accordance with applicable regulations of material containing asbestos and lead, and flourescent lighting ballasts containing PCBs. The Estimated cost range is $500,000 -- $1,000,000. The SIC Cide is 1711 and the Small Business Size Standard is $7 million are applicable to this contract.
