The Commission on Mental Health Services (CMHS), District of Columbia (DC), has a requirement to provide comprehensive Business Office Operations and Automated Data Processing facility management services functions to support its clinical and administrative activities. CMHS plans and provides publicly funded mental health services to the citizens of DC. There are approximately 7,500 clients of which 6,500 are outpatients and 1,000 are inpatients. Inpatient services are provided at the Saint Elizabeth's Hospital campus and outpatient services are provided at nine (9) locations for adults and fourteen (14) locations for children at various sites throughout the city. Currently, services are being provided on a month-to-month basis by HBO & Company of Atlanta, Georgia. The Government requests industry provide written comment on the Statement of Work (SOW) for the upcoming solicitation entitled "Automated Data Processing and Business Office Functions for the CMHS". This is not a request for proposal. A synopsis similar to this shall be published prior to the release of the RFP document.
