The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center's, Regional Contracts Department intends to place a non-competitive, commercial contract with Gen-Probe, San Diego, CA, for the lease of one Gen-Probe Luminometer and Multiprobe, and Pace 2 system test kits for the detection of Gonorrhoeae and Chlamydia pursuant to FAR part 12. The proposed contract is for a base year beginning 01 Jan 1999 thru 31 Sept. 1999 and four one year options. The proposed contract is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302.
