This notice is to announce solicitation N00033-99-R-2004 for the time-charter of a vessel to provide support for USN research submarine towing, submarine rescue utilizing existing flyaway submarine rescue chamber (FSRC) and a highly maneuverable submarine rescue chamber (HMSRC). The vessel will also support submarine sea trial escort, diving, and submarine torpedo exercise target/recovery operations. The vessel will operate out of Groton, CT.
