asphalt-paved roadway and trail that were damaged by the floods of 1997
shall be repaired. The following tasks shall be completed: salvage
delaminated asphalt pavement that has been washed from paved surfaces,
plane damaged road surfaces to create a suitable base for
over-pavement, patch areas of asphalt unsuitable for planing for
subsequent over-pavement, repair shoulder washout areas with erosion
controls and revegetation, resurface roadway and trail areas with
asphaltic cement, and install provided gate structure between the south
end of the trail and the access roadway. Because right-of-way
agreements involving nearby construction sites permit use of the
roadway and trail by heavy trucks, these tasks will be delayed until
Spring 1999. Do not expect work area to be accessible until
approximately May 15, 1999. Notice to Proceed will not be issued until
such time. Statement of magnitude $25,000-$100,000. Work to be
