Chipping and peeling have occurred on the existing material and additionally there are areas where the concrete has spalled to a depth of 1/8th inch plus. The concrete substrate shall be profiled to accept a 3/16th inch flooring system. The contractor shall install a 3/16th inch flooring system. Color selected is Colored Quartz Sands Q1. The requirement is to be performed at Mitchell Hall, Building 2350. There is approximately 9,000 square feet of area to receive this application. The work is to be completed during the time of 20 Dec 98 -- 05 Jan 99. Contractor shall provide a submittal for products being used along with the material safety data sheets for approval or disapproval by the Contracting Officer.
