Cite: (W-286 SN261429) The date, Procurement Request Number are corrected. In addition, the FMS country requirements are corrected from Egypt and Saudi Arabia to Taiwan. All other information remains the same as follows. The Naval Sea Systems Command plans to negotiate a modification to contract N00024-97-C-6107 with Raytheon Systems Company, Mukilteo, WA, for 131 MK46 Torpedoes for Taiwan under various FMS cases. Raytheon is the sole designer and producer of the MK46 Torpedoes and is the only contractor with the expertise and tooling capabilities required to provide the requirement.
