for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the
Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with
additional information included in the notice. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation; no other documents will be issued.
(II) This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ)
132-003-9. (III) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions
are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-06.
(IV) This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business. The
Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 2813, with a size
standard of 1000 employees. (V) Line Item #1: Contractor to deliver
cylinders (125-pounds) of R-22 Freon on an as needed basis. Annual
cylinder requirement estimated at 180 cylinders. Price to include any
delivery charges assessed. Line Item #2: Deposit fee for each cylinder,
to be credited with direct exchange of empty cylinders. (VI) Deliveries
to begin nolater than 10 days from date of award through September 30,
1999. Delivery address: U. S. Penitentiary, Attn: Receiving Depot,
1300 Metropolitan Avenue, Leavenworth KS 66048. Orders will be placed
by a Contracting Officer or authorized designee in the using
department. Names of authorized individuals will be provided at time of
award. (VII) FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to
Offerors-Commerical Items (Oct. 1995), is hereby included by reference.
The following addenda are included by reference: At paragraph C, Period
of Acceptance of Offers, offeror agrees to hold the prices offered for
sixty (60) calendar days from the date specified for receipt of
offers. At paragraph H, Multiple Awards, the Contracting Officer has
determined that multiple awards are not applicable in this solicitation
and the paragraph is hereby removed in its entirety for purposes of
this requirement. (VIII) FAR provision 52.212-3, Offeror
Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (June 1996) will be
completed and submittedprior to award. (IX) FAR clause 52.212-4,
Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Oct. 1995) hereby
applies to this solicitation. At paragraph G, Invoice, contractor shall
submit invoices to U. S. Penitentiary, Attn: Accounting Supervisor,
1300 Metropolitan Avenue, Leavenworth KS 66048. (X) The following
