The following is required: To be able to develop ideas and recommendations for improvements in the IRS cash flow timeline to include short (60 days or less) and long-term implementation timelines using the Phoenix-Hect Model UAI. The three major components are as follows: Mail time improvements: recommend to the mailing instructions for taxpayers to improve cash flow, recommend changes to LockBox Bank locations to improve cash flow, and recommend more effective ways to manage the volumes of mail received at service centers. Processing time improvements: recommend new strategies to identify types of work early in the remittance process to improve cash flow. Availiability time improvements: develop procedures to maximize the earliest and most efficient service center weekday and weekend deposits to improve cash flow.
