C -- A/E DESIGN REPLACE MOTOR CONTROL CENTERS SOL 622-12-99 DUE 113098 POC Sherri-Lyn Teeters, 615-867-6095 This procurement is being issued under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656. Provide all material, labor, equipment, and supervision required for the A/E design of Project No. 622-99-101, Replace Motor Control Center at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center, Murfreesboro, Tennessee. This project will replace the motor control centers in various buildings with new motor control centers allowing them to interface into the existing energy management for energy reduction and efficiency. Design work is to include site investigation, design development, preparation of working drawings, estimates, and contract specifications. Electrical design discipline is required. Evaluation criteria will be as follows: 1) Specialized experience of the firm with the type of work required. 2) Capacity of the firm to perform the work within the time limitations. 3) Past record of performance on contracts with Government agencies. 4) Familiar with the area in which the project is located. 5) Geographic location and facilities of the working office. 6) Area of consideration of this project is within the State of Tennessee.
