The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks to identify responsible sources and obtain information in regard to availability and construction of a commercially available, secure, modular building which would serve as a community medical outpatient clinic in Bennington, Vermont. This is a request for information only (RFI). There is no solicitation package available. This notice is to identify potential offerors and solicit industry comments and questions. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided. The Government seeks to identify commercially available modular building manufactures that are able to manufacture a structurally sound modular mobile type building, set on piers, with a minimum of 1950 SF of useable space, modified appropriately for 4 exam rooms w/sinks, a reception area, waiting area, 2 handicapped toilets, file storage, conference room, office, dirty utility closet and clean utility closet. Building shall be able to meet all BOCA code requirements, contain two remote exit doors, be fully sprinklered, be ADA compliant. Interested individuals shall provide information on all electrical hookups, central air/heat, and structural pier recommendations from the building manufacturer. Please submit correspondence on company letterhead along with any other descriptive information which includes: 1) point of contact; 2) technical description of building including code and structural information; 3) estimated price ranges for buildings; 4) various interior and exterior building treatment options; 5) amount of time required from order placement to complete installation of the manufactured building. Any proprietary information must be marked as such. The Dept. of Veterans Affairs will not award a contract on the basis of responses to this RFI nor otherwise pay for the preparation of any information submitted.
